When it comes to our goals, dreams, and success, we talk a good game, but often stop there! After coaching clients for years, I've found one question that pinpoints how serious a person really is about achieving success.
...and that question is simply, what investment have you made?
Let's borrow this financial term "investment", and apply it to the effort we're willing to contribute for our own success. Be open, honest, and authentic! Ask yourself these questions...
- How much time have I invested?
- How much energy have I invested?
- How much money have I invested?
If you aren't willing to make the investment, you cannot expect a profit!
I challenge you to get serious about your success. On a regular basis, reflect to realize how much time, energy, and money you contributed (or didn't contribute) to your goals. If you're not achieving the success you desire, I would venture to equate it to a lack of investment.
Last question... are you serious about your success? I'd love to hear your comments!
